The Complete Set of Sermons

A brutally honest discussion about pricing

As technology has changed we have been faced with a dilemma. From 1987 to about 2005 we made our sermons available on cassette tape for $2 each, while others were selling them for $5 to $10. God’s people purchased these in such large numbers and sent along so many gifts with their orders that we were able to send hundreds of thousands of tapes around the world and support many missionaries with those monies. Then we moved to the internet and to CD / MP3. This meant the amount of materials being ordered declined very rapidly owning to the large amount of material available at no cost on line. With this came a decline in gifts received. The saints throughout America rejoiced that they were now getting for free what used to cost them a few dollars. However, the saints around the world who were getting the material for free are now in jeopardy of not getting the materials because those few dollars are no longer coming our way. When someone says to us, you could give me everything for free because a) technology allows it or b) you should because that would prove you are not in it for the money, such a one is thinking only of themselves not of those in the rest of the world. We think it reasonable to ask a minimal amount to help us carry on our work or to compensate the one who ministers to you for his labors. If you do not think that reasonable we trust you will be reasonable in disagreeing. Many will offer you one sermon on a CD for $15 or $20. That is their call to make. Whatever cost one places on any ministry item, those who are covetous will complain that a ministry is being covetous. Those aware of all the expenses and details involved will rejoice that God’s work is being done.

That being said, to order all our recorded materials from 1987-2010 on individual MP3 s would cost about $2000. For 6000 hours of material that comes out to about 33 cents an hour. (Proving it is much less expensive to fix your heart than to fix your plumbing or your car). We will download this material for you onto a USB flash drive at a cost of $1500 plus the cost of the drive, along with your giving your word that you will not reproduce this material or post it on the internet. You are free to disagree with this policy but for now it is the course we are taking.

Please keep in mind that all our materials are copyrighted to protect us from those who lack conscience or conviction. Thank you.

NOTE 1: Flash drives, like any other piece of hardware, eventually fail. We strongly encourage you to make a backup of the contents as soon as you receive it. The USB flash drive is intended only as a delivery media.

NOTE 2: The price may be adjusted as new sermons are added or the price of the available drives changes. We buy them when they are on sale at a local office supply store.

NOTE 3: If you do not want the entire collection, but would like to have 20 or more CDs copied to an external drive, that can be done for 20% off of those CDs plus the cost of the flash drive.

The complete set of sermons will be provided to graduates of The DeLand School of THE BIBLE at no charge once they go to some field of service – this the only case where the sermons will be provided in this manner. Please do not ask us to make an exception for you.

  • This policy is effective as of January 25, 2011.
  • Policy updated on October 1, 2015 – USB drive is now included. Previous policy had the buyer provide the drive.
