As leprosy begins as a small, seemingly harmless spot on the skin and spreads to consume all of one’s flesh, so the temptation to sin begins with the mildest flirtation to disobey the Lord and quickly spreads to consume all of one’s spirit, soul, heart, mind, and ultimately even one’s body.
