Many Gentile religious groups today have adopted customs and practices of the Jewish religion such as sabbath-keeping, dietary requirements, aspects of the Jewish priesthood, etc., seeking to identify themselves as being Jews or “spiritual Israel.” A careful examination of the law of Moses demonstrates that such groups fall far short of God’s requirements for fulfilling the Jewish law. This is besides the fact that these groups cannot trace their lineage back to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
