The year was 1988. THE BIBLE Baptist Church was in its first year. We had few members and little money but wanted to be active in missionary work around the world. Knowing that those serving on the field had none to minister to them (these were the days before internet) and no funds with which to obtain materials, we decided to send recordings to a couple of missionaries we knew telling them they could have more at no cost if they so desired. Well, one told another, and then another, and soon the mail was pouring in from around the world. By the time on-line sermons took hold we had sent about 3,000,000 recorded sermons and books around the world at no cost to the recipients.
