Perfection is not the forgiveness of sin. Perfection is completion, the full measure of a thing. In biblical terms, it is God working in the Christian to bring the believer to the fullest measure of spiritual maturity by conforming the saved person to the image of Christ Jesus in every aspect of His holy character.
