We hold the view that all born again Christians are members of the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12, Ephesians 4) and that these believers are to gather together in a local church. We see no reason to add local church membership to membership in the body of Christ.
Should a person desire to congregate with us at THE BIBLE Baptist Church they are welcome to do so, providing there are no scriptural reasons to exclude them from fellowship.
Those churches which have a secondary membership do so in order to grant voting privileges to members in good standing. Since we are a Bible-based church we have no voting, thus, the only benefit of secondary membership would not be realized.
The Bible would exclude from attendance in a Christian church those who are engaged in sexual misconduct, idolatry, drunkenness (1 Corinthians 5) and similar transgressions which harm the testimony of a church in a community.
We publish and distribute a church directory on a quarterly basis. This contains the mailing addresses and telephone numbers of those who consider THE BIBLE Baptist Church their home.
